I’ve fallen behind on the amount of pictures I take of Avery this week. This is both a good and bad thing, but mostly good.
Bad in the sense that I don’t have as many pictures to choose from for #MySundayPhoto, but good (if not great) because I spent more time just playing with Avery instead of sticking a camera in her face.
Sometimes I think we all forget the most important part is time, and we don’t need 100+ pics a day. I know it’s hard, but so worth it. Now if only I can do better about this from now on….
But it’s hard when you capture your kid beaming with delight and not a worry in the world, isn’t it? Here’s one I snapped of Avery being “blinded by happiness”.
The quality wasn’t that great to start with, as it was fairly dark and grainy. I think with the exposure adjustment and sepia combo, it turned out pretty good. Please check out the original below and let me know what you think.
Are you a chronic picture taker or feel like you need to take more pics?
Do you like using full color or enjoy using more black & white, sepia, etc for picture formats?
Oh to not have a care in the world, what a gorgeous smile to capture but I know what you mean about stepping away from the camera sometimes x
Yes, it’s a constant learning process, so hard to set the camera down sometimes. Thanks for visiting and commenting!
Aww you can’t help but smile at the sheer joy on Avery’s face.
I must admit to liking the sepia toned one, makes her face ‘pop’.
Totally agree that we spend too much time attempting to capture the moment than actually enjoy it, something I’m trying to change!
Thank you for all of the kind words! I’ll have to find more pics that the sepia tone will work with. Uh oh, guess I’ll have to say goodbye to free-time for a bit! 🙂
I definitely have the occasional spell where I’m too keen to capture the moment, but I’m much more relaxed about leavingmy DSLR at home these days and just going with the flow, knowing that I can usually get a pretty decent shot with my phone if something good pops up.
I like the sepia-finished image too – works very well, and what a greay expression on Avery’s face!
I’m getting there too, with leaving the DLSR at home, but I do need a nice phone upgrade to get more comfortable. Thanks for commenting!
I like it both ways, the happiness there makes me want to smile too
Thank you, hope it keeps you smiling all week. I know she’ll keep me smiling for sure!
Love this photo!! Its going to be one that you cherish forever, Im sure!
Oh yes, I’ve got quite the collection of ones to cherish. Thank you for visiting!
So lovely: ‘blinded by happiness’; quite a way of looking at it. It’s easy to keep capturing instead of just enjoying the moments we have. I’m an avid ‘picture taker’, especially since starting my blog. I’m not great with using filters but I’m learning that they can work wonders. I love your filtered one, it definitely brings out your shot better. I enjoy the different tones: black and white, colour, sepia; all lovely. Thanks for sharing. #MySundayPhoto
Thank you so much! Having a blog definitely makes picture taking an addiction, huh? I’m still figuring out filters too, thanks for the kind words!
I definately like the sepia one, really brings her face out of the background. Love seeing them so happy.
When kids are happy, we’re all happy! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I enjoy the sepia one too!
Just gorgeous! That one happy little kid.
Thank you, I’d like to think she’s a happy kid. She makes us happy for sure!
I would say it’s come out pretty well. We take 100s of photos but now try to restrict what we share
Thank you for linking up
Thank you, I bet your photos are all brilliant!
That smile! Just so infectious! #mysundayphoto
Thank you, very infectious indeed!
