It was storming all day and finally let up before the sun was completely set. My wife, Avery, and I walked out front of our house to soak in the beautiful sunset as the clouds finally broke.
Again, big thanks to my lovely wife for capturing these lovely pictures of daddy and daughter watching the sun make way for the moon.
She wasn’t happy with the port-a-potty in the background, but I think the beauty of everything else far outweighs the portable toilet. But, as I’ve been doing, I must share one more pic, and it does not have the blue plastic john in it’s range. Again, thank my wife for keeping it out of this one.
How have storms been in your area?
Don’t you just love the after-storm calmness?
What beautiful photos. Love the sunset. I probably wouldn’t have noticed the portable toilet if you hadn’t mentioned it!
Me either, and it’s really not that noticeable anyway. Thanks for stopping by!
Beautiful photos. How nice to be able to enjoy it together. I wouldn’t have noticed the toilet unless you said. #MySundayPhoto
Thank you, Tara. I told my wife the same thing, but it really seemed to bother her.
Absolutely beautiful photo. There’s so much playfulness and love in that shot, and a stunning sunset.
Haha! Didn’t see the toilet at all!
It’s one to remember forever! Thanks for visiting!
High five for your wife – looks amazing this shot x
I made sure to give a double high five for her excellent shots! Thanks for stopping by!
Aww so sweet and I love the sun set, Clio lending a helping hand for Coombe Mill
Thank you, Clio, it was a special moment for sure.
Gorgeous shot! Beautiful skies! 🙂
Thank you so much!
Ah, the perfect perch from whence to see the world! #mysundayphoto
I’d hope so! Acting as a daddy perch should go on the resume for sure!
Awesome photos, very heartwarming shots!
Such a wonderful daddy daughter moment, looks perfect
Thank you, Amanda, much appreciated!
I wouldn’t have noticed the porta-loo without you mentioning it! Really love shot. It’s so sweet when they can sit on your shoulders. Can only be for so long before they get too heavy so nice to have it captured.
Too heavy AND squirmy for the shoulders! We’ll hold on to this stage as long as we can!
Beautiful photos, these are photos that will live on in your memories
Thank you for linking up
What a lovely photos! That sky is amazing x
It is awe-inspiring, huh? Nothing beats a beautiful sunset with loved ones. Thanks for visiting, Kim!
what a beautiful photo , one for the family photo album for sure x
Thank you, Lindsay, this is definitely going in the album!!
You have stunning view in front of your house. I can only see houses in ours =P
Thats a lovely sky too. #mysundayphoto
Thanks, Merlinda! There’s a home being built right in front, so soon we won’t have this view. Hence the port-a-potty! 🙂
Awesome photos. Sorry been occupied this weekend and haven’t been able to keep up with blog posts. Weather in my area is rain, storms, rain, more storms, monsoons. Temperatures that run between turning on the A.C. and then the furnace in the evening! This week looks much nicer thankfully.
No need to be sorry, you and Sloane were living it up! Weather has been pretty crazy around here too, mostly lots of rain and storms and….oh, just like you! No monsoons though. Stay safe and enjoy the week!
