If you see a dog swinging in the park, chances are that dog is special.

London and her amazing dog Joy encounter a young boy who’s lost a family treasure. Inspired to help, Joy springs into action, leading London and the boy on a delightful adventure to find it. Will they find what they’re looking for and discover the legacy behind the lost treasure?

Swinging for Joy is a heartwarming reminder that an act of kindness can become the bond of friendship. Aishah Hight creates a rhythmical tale that inspires young readers to care for others, be hopeful, and in so doing, find joy.

A Children’s Book About a Brave Dog and the Power of Friendship

Zorro the Boston Terrier finds himself accidentally locked out of his home in the rain, with nowhere to turn for shelter. He ventures through the neighborhood and encounters adorable creatures who try to help him, each in unique ways. His mishap ends in a night full of adventure and new friendships.

We wrote this book with the intention of teaching young children about resilience and the importance of not being afraid to ask for help when in need. When persevering through difficult times one can often find joy in life through new friendships and adventure.

We will donate a percentage of the proceeds to an organization called Paw Paw Boston Terriers, which rescues dogs from kill shelters in South Korea.
